In cooperation with the USA Rice Federation, AgriLogic Consulting is developing a Downed Rice Endorsement.  This endorsement would be an option and would attach to the current FCIC Rice Insurance Program.  If elected, the endorsement would compensate rice producers a portion of the additional harvest costs associated with a downed rice event.  Listening sessions have been scheduled in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Missouri to obtain feedback from the industry.  This product will be submitted to FCIC Fall 2011.
