Current Projects

peanutsIn cooperation with the Georgia Peanut Commission and the Western Peanut Growers Association, AgriLogic is developing a Peanut Revenue Insurance Product.  This is a revenue-based peanut crop insurance program modeled after the Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC) program offered for other crops currently insured by the USDA Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC).  The proposed program would cover fluctuations in the yield and price.  The same insurable types offered under the current APH peanut crop insurance program would also be used for the peanut revenue crop insurance program.  Listening sessions have been scheduled in Texas, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi to obtain feedback from the industry.  This product will be submitted to FCIC January 2011.
