Agrilogic was awarded a contract by the USDA - RMA to conduct a program evaluation of the cherry pilot insurance program. The evaluation was used to determine if the program should be continued as a pilot program, modified from its current form, terminated, or converted to a permanent program. The Federal Crop Insurance Corporation's (FCIC) Board of Directors initially approved the pilot program in August 1998. Since this initial approval, the program has been expanded to include additional counties within the United States.
