The Triticale Risk Management Program was a two-phase partnership between the USDA’s Risk Management Agency (RMA) and AgriLogic. The goal of the partnership is to assess the feasibility of providing risk management and/or insurance programs to triticale producers. If it is determined feasible, then the development of such programs will occur. The feasibility of a crop insurance program for triticale producers, which could be similar to other crop insurance programs offered by USDA (such as corn, cotton, and wheat).

AgriLogic determine it was feasible to develop insruacne coverage for triticale but the recommended program development was not implemented. AgriLogic is currently exploring other options for insuring triticale.
