The Hemp Actual Production History (APH) Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) developed by AgriLogic Consulting’s AgVersity analytical team under the Federal 508(h) process was approved by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors on December 19, 2019.  Beginning with the 2020 crop year, the program will be available in select counties in select states (see full article) with a sales closing date of March 15, 2020 the initial year.

Apple Trees

The Apple Tree Insurance Program developed by AgriLogic was approved on June 5, 2019 by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors under Section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act for implementation. Beginning with the 2021 crop year, the Apple Tree Program will be available in all major apple producing counties in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Vegetable Seeds

The Vegetable Seed Insurance Program developed by AgriLogic Consulting was approved by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board of Directors under Section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act in March 2019. The program will be offered to producers of hybrid carrot seed in the Oregon counties of Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson, and Wasco, as well as in Yakima County, Washington with the first sales closing on July 15, 2019.

Texas Citrus Tree

AgriLogic Consulting developed the current expansion of the Texas Citrus Tree Insurance Program in cooperation with Texas citrus growers in the Rio Grande Valley. The expansion includes the addition of lemon trees as an insurable type, price election option by type, allowing enterprise units, and minor modifications to definitions.
